Brother Abdullah's father passed away. After the burial the family got together and said the shahadah 125,000 times to benefit the deceased. There were 5 members and they divided up the duty to each person. This is not something from the sunnah. The Prophet Mohammed (saw) never did this nor did the Companions. Is this haraam?
